Police: Worker Demands Pay
A worker has been calling police over an ongoing phone dispute with his contractor boss regarding owed pay.

A man reported to police an ongoing dispute he was having with a contractor for back pay to the tune of $2,000, Tarrytown Police report.
The man came into police headquarters on March 29 at 7:12 p.m. to report a past dispute with his contractor over pay. He said he worked for the contractor, who then failed to pay him wages owed.
He then said that on Saturday, March 23 around 5 p.m., the contractor called the worker at his home and threatened to beat him up.

Officers tried to call the contractor unsuccessfully. They advised the worker of his options, who wished to have incident noted for record.
The next day, at 5:08 p.m., New York state police told Tarrytown authorities they had received a complaint of aggravated harassment. Police went to the worker's Storm Street address where he was having a dispute with his former employer over the phone.

Again, police were unable to reach the contractor by phone themselves.
Police referred the worker to civil court to resolve the matter.
