Bicyclist Injured in Stony Brook Crash

Incident took place Thursday.

A 22-year-old bicyclist was hit by a car on Thursday and was sent to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The incident occurred at 11:53 a.m. at the corner of Route 25A and Quaker Path. The bicyclist was crossing Route 25A southbound as the driver was traveling westbound on Route 25A. No one was charged in the crash, according to police.
