Pickup Truck Smashes Into Sycamore Circle Home

The Setauket Fire Department responded to a crash in which a pickup truck smashed into the garage of a home on Sycamore Circle on Wednesday afternoon. The pickup truck damaged the garage door and a utility room containing the home's heating system. According to a fire department report, the driver of the vehicle was taken to a hospital. The Town of Brookhaven sent a fire marshal and a housing inspector to investigate.
