Here are the top four stories in Three Village today:
- A home fire was reported on Thursday on Balin Avenue in Setauket. Marshals arrived at the scene at 3:20 p.m. No injuries were reported, and officials are investigating the cause of the fire. (Patch)
- Setauket Gallery North features a special exhibit for the holiday season. The Deck the Halls returns to the gallery displaying over fifty original paintings from local artists. The pieces will be on view through Dec. 23. Gallery North is at 90 North Country Road in Setauket. (TBR News Media)
- Temple Isaiah of Stony Brook is hosting a Comedy Night Fundraiser Saturday at 8 p.m. The event features comedians Chris Monty, Chris Roach and Rich Walker. I want to bring to your attention that this is a BYOB event. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $50 per person. (Three Village Patch)

- "Police are searching for the suspect in an East Islip carjacking. It occurred in the parking lot of a Starbucks on Sunrise Service Road just before 7 a.m., according to authorities." (LI News12)
- Three Village 42nd Annual Candlelight House Tour will showcase four historic houses on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2-3.
