Here are the top four stories in Three Village today:

  1. Stony Brook Village is hosting its Black Fri-YAY on Nov. 25! It's going to be a special day for all shoppers in the community that will have the opportunity of supporting local businesses while listening to carolers. Children will be able to enjoy a petting zoo and other activities as well. Visit here to learn the details of this outing. (Stony Brook Village)
  2. The Three Village Winter Market is coming to town on Dec. 10-11. The event will be held on the grounds of the Three Village Historical Society in Setauket. Treats, handmade gifts, and much more will be available during the event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Three Village Historical Society)
  3. The Stony Brook Christian Assembly announced via social media the Drive Through Live Nativity event on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. Participants will see a live presentation of Christ's birth from their cars. This event is a holiday tradition that started fifteen years ago. All are welcome to join. (Facebook Events)
  4. Setauket artists have chosen Gail Laines Chase to have her work appreciated as one of the 42nd Setauket Artists Exhibitions. Gail's art pieces have been displayed at our local galleries, such as Gallery North, Mills Pond Gallery, Long Island Museum, and the Port Jefferson Village Center. (TBR News Media)

  • The Bristal Assisted Living is organizing a Homeless Pet Drive this Thanksgiving. To donate food, toys, blankets and other pet goodies, visit the Port Jefferson Chamber Of Commerce website to learn the drop-off locations. Donations are being accepted through Nov. 16. (Port Jefferson CofC)
  • Three Village Historical Society features the new candle scent "Light + Legend." The new product is available for purchase at the society's gift shop. All proceeds will be invested in the funds of the education department. (TVHS)
  • The Stony Brook Village is hosting its 43rd Annual Holiday Tree Competition. Roll your sleeves up and let your imagination create a beautiful balsam tree that will be displayed to the public between Dec. 4 and 20. Download the registration form and be one of the contestants.
