Incident Report: Cops Investigating Stony Brook Burglary, Criminal Mischief

Incidents occurred between Nov. 23 and Nov. 25.

Cops Investigating Stony Brook Burglary. Suffolk police are looking for the person or persons who broke into a home on Sycamore Circle in Stony Brook sometime between Nov. 11 and Nov. 25 and stole valuable coins.

Criminal Mischief Reported on Lewis Street. A resident of Lewis Street in Setauket called police Nov. 25 to report that someone punctured the rear driver's side tire of a 2010 Jeep Wrangler parked at the home sometime between 12 p.m. on Nov. 24 and 2 p.m. on Nov. 25.

Woman Breaks Window of Cop Car, Charged with Criminal Mischief. A woman whom cops were transporting to Stony Brook University Hospital was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, after she broke the rear passenger side window of the police car. The incident took place on northbound Nicolls Road at approximately 11 p.m. on Nov. 23. Police did not identify the woman arrested.
