Detectives Probing Death Of Long Island Man, 'Victim Of Violence,' Found On Monday Morning: Cops

The man, described as "a victim of violence," was found at around 3:40 a.m. on Monday, Suffolk cops say.

LONG ISLAND, NY — Suffolk Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances under which a Selden man was found slain in Stony Brook early Monday morning, police said.

Christopher Millwater, 52, was found "injured" in front of a location on Shore Road at around 3:40 a.m., police said, adding that he "was a victim of violence" and was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
