Letter to the Editor: Board Candidate Bavlnka is Committed to the District

Deanna Bavlnka is running to retain her seat on the Three Village school board.

I am writing this letter in support of Deanna Bavlnka's re-election to our BOE. Deanna is 100 percent committed to our district, communication, collaboration with the BOE, administration, teachers and community residents, and seeing to it that our students receive the education they deserve that many of us had the opportunity to receive in the past.

As budgets become tighter and expectations of public education increase, it’s imperative that we have people on the board who take their responsibility very seriously and are responsive to the public. She is approachable, friendly, trustworthy, and has an outstanding ability to focus on challenges. As a Mom with children in our district, she is committed to her position, because she relates and is aware of happenings in the community. She has demonstrated her dedication ten fold.

The commitment to provide a world-class education is what brought us to Three Village as well as everyone I know. That in itself speaks volumes about our district and community, something we are all proud of. We, as a community, insist our district provides a world-class education. Therefore, I support Deanna Bavlnka to be re-elected to our BOE on May 15th.
