Here are the top three stories in Three Village today:

  1. The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame will host its grand opening on Nov. 25. A significant number of rare artifacts and objectives that once belonged to singers like Billy Joel, Debbie Gibson and more will be displayed. The venue is located at Stony Brook Main Street. (Patch)
  2. Stony Brook Hospital received recognition for its efforts to reduce emissions. The institution is now part of the Pledge To Decarbonize Health Care Sector, which aims to reach the White House Climate Goals to reduce emissions by fifty percent by 2030. (Patch)

  • Bohemia residents are talking about a unique visitor that showed up on Louis Kossuth Avenue and Maddison Street. A bear was caught on camera on Monday night. When the police arrived at the scene, the bear was gone! (LI News12)
  • Mark on the calendar the Three Village Electric Parade on Sunday. Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. Pre-parade fun will be held at the Setauket Fire House at 4 p.m. The event will light our streets with the fun decorated vehicles "marching" around the neighborhood.   • " The cyberattack that all but crippled Suffolk County's web-based applications in September was proceeded by a series of incidents highlighting the system's vulnerabilities and possible intrusions, prompting some department heads to plead for better security, according to a report." (Patch)
