Local Contractor Picked to Repair Damaged Ocean Parkway
Bove Industries is one of three that will work on the project.

Bove Industries of East Setauket is one of the three contractors picked by New York State to repair Ocean Parkway and the Robert Moses State Park traffic circle, according to a report published in Newsday.
The two roadways were badly damaged during Hurricane Sandy, and the bids for the project will total $33.2 million. John P. Piccone from Williamsburg, N.Y., and Tully Construction, of Flushing, join Bove Industries on that winning bid. Gov. Andrew Cuomo called it a "joint venture" of the three firms.
"New York State is moving quickly to repair Ocean Parkway and reopen the connection to Robert Moses State Park," Cuomo said in a statement to Newsday. "Step by step, our state's infrastructure is being restored."
