Main Street Closed Off In Setauket After Downed Utility Pole: Police
A single-car crashed into the pole at around 2:40 a.m., Suffolk police said.
SETUKET, NY — Main Street in Setauket has been closed while PSEG repairs a utility pole that was knocked down by a vehicle early Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said.
Sixth Precinct officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crashing into a utility pole on Main Street, near Van Brunt Manor Road, at around 2:40 a.m., according to police.
The driver and a passenger in the vehicle were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
