Tiffany Chang's journey through the Three Village school system began when she entered Mount Elementary in third grade. Since then, she took part in numerous activities and worked hard at academics too – and has been named Ward Melville's valedictorian for her efforts.
"I am someone who likes to do my best and see things through. I don't do things halfway,” said Chang, who will attend Brown University in the fall as an applied mathematics and economics.
Along the way, Chang earned honors as an AP Scholar with Honor, a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student, member of the National Honor Society, treasurer of the French Honor Society, and participant in the InSTAR program.

Chang is also an artist, musician and poet: she played violin in the chamber orchestra, receiving recognition in the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association Festival and participating in the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association Young Poets Poetry Writing Contest and the American Association of Teachers of French Original French Poetry Writing Contest.
"I have been blessed to be a part of such an amazing district that offers so many opportunities," she said. "It would be a waste to not take advantage of those opportunities wholeheartedly.”
