- Gallery North features the art exhibition "Home Land Nature."Artist Han Qin presents his work in all sizes of cyanotypes woodblock prints. An ArTalk will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m. (Patch)
- Suffolk Police announced more patrols will be on the streets to check sex offenders on Halloween weekend. They will also watch out for young pranksters who may vandalize houses. (Patch)
- Help Emma Clark Library to make a difference this holiday. Two drives will be hosted to help those needing pajamas and extra warm clothes this winter. The "Pajamas for Those in Need" Drive starts on October 31 through November 20. The "Share the Warmth Drive" is from Nov. 21 until Dec. 31. All donations will be collected at the entrance. (Patch)
