  1. Three Village Historical Society shared exciting news this week. The First Annual Three Village Outdoor Winter Market will hit the town On Dec. 10-11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Three Village Electric Holiday Parade will be held on Dec. 12. Save these dates to enjoy the magic of holidays in our neighborhood. (TVHS)
  2. Five students from Melville High School will bring their musical talents to the 2022 All-State Music Conference. The selection was made by the New York State School Music Association. The students and staff had their achievements celebrated in a ceremony hosted by the School District Board of Education held on Oct. 26. (Three Village School District)
  3. Fall Look Book Luncheons are still sizzling in Stony Brook. The events will run through November 17. Participants will enjoy a prix-fixe lunch and fall looks from the Mint, Loft, Chico's and more at the Luca and Mirabelle Restaurant.   • Halloween weekend was extra busy for the New York State Police. According to official reports, there were 189 arrests for DWI and around 11,000 tickets were issued. Police said these numbers are up 42 percent if compared to last year. (LI News12)
  • Emma Clark Library is hosting a culinary class via Zoom. The "Cooking with the Baking Coach: Everything but the Turkey" is set for Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 8 p.m. Register here. (Emma Clark Library)
  • Pedego Electric Bikes in Stony Brook created an event to support local families this Thanksgiving. The "Cranksgiving" event calls bikers in the Three Village community to ride for a good cause, bringing a donation of $10 0r $20 that will be invested in groceries to help families struggling with food insecurity this holiday. The group will gather at 690, 25 A, East Setauket, on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 11:30 a.m. All are welcome to join! (Facebook Events)
