Photo of the Day: Legislator Lauds Girl Scout Gold Award Recipients

Girl Scout Jenna Papazissimo planned, organized and raised funds to put on an “Under the Sea” themed dinner dance for area senior citizens. And Girl Scout Megan Lee helped women diagnosed with breast cancer who are on chemotherapy by purchasing and distributing MP3 players, CDs and digital music for them during their treatment. For those accomplishments, they were awarded Girl Scout Gold Medals, and were honored by Suffolk Legis. Kara Hahn, D-Setauket, at a recent celebration at the Setauket Neighborhood House. Both girls are juniors at Ward Melville High School and members of Girl Scout Troop 2552.
