Black Lives Matter Sign Ripped Outside Long Island Church: Cops
It happened back in October in the second incident at the church within the year, Suffolk police say.

STONY BROOK, NY — Suffolk police are searching for information on the suspect they say vandalized a "Black Lives Matter" sign outside the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship church in Stony Brook last year.
The person vandalized the sign on the northbound side of Nicolls Road on Oct. 27 just before 5 a.m., according to police.
Police said it was ripped along the edges.

In an image captured by security video, a suspect can be seen wearing a dark hooded jacket, plaid pants, and black sneakers. They were carrying a light blue backpack.
Another "Black Lives Matter" sign was vandalized at the same spot last January.

The crime has been classified criminal mischief.
Further details were not released by police.
Suffolk Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
