- The New York General Election is over. I am sure many Three Village Patch readers are interested in the results. If you'd like to find out, you can check it out here. (NY Elections)
- Three Village teachers and administrators announced the Three Village Has Talent presentation on the district's website! The community will have the unique opportunity to see the teachers and other staff performing live on stage on Thursday, Nov. 17, at the Murphy JHS at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person. They are on sale in the school's auditorium lobby. All the proceeds will be donated to scholarship funds. (Three Village School District)
- Have you visited Gallery North in Setauket recently? The art exhibition "Home Land Nature" will be displayed until Sunday, Nov. 13. Artist Han Quin created the collection. It features all sizes of cyanotypes and wood prints expressing conflicts of migration. The gallery is at 90 N Country Rd., Setauket. (Patch Events)
- Police sought a shoplifter who stole merchandise from the Halloween Spirits store on Nesconset Highway. The woman took several costumes without paying for them and fled the scene in a Jeep Renegade with New York plates on Oct. 28 at 9:30 p.m. Officials believe she stole from other stores of the same chain on Long Island. They are requesting the public's help to identify the suspect. (Daily Voice)
- Veteran Day is Friday and significant events are happening this week to support and honor the ones who served. Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone shared the news of Operation Green Light, a drive to support veterans' families with resources and donations. The event will be hosted at 100 Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. (The Suffolk County News)
