Setauket Fire District Opens Emergency Distribution Center

The Setauket Fire District will open a distribution center for Red Cross supplies including sandwiches, drinks, snacks, blankets, and toiletries starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Head to Station 3 on Nicolls Road if you are in need of those supplies, or if you need to charge your cell phone as well.

"We're just trying to get a center open on the north shore in the Three Village area for support to the surrounding towns too," commissioner William Pollina said.

All three of the Setauket Fire Department station houses are running on generator power, Pollina said, but it won't stop them from servicing the community.
