- Mark on the calendar for the Three Village Electric Parade on Sunday. Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. Pre-parade fun will be held at the Setauket Fire House at 4 p.m. The event will light our streets with the fun decorated vehicles "marching" around the neighborhood. (Three Village Chamber Of Commerce via Social Media)

- It's that time of the year when most Long Islanders try to juggle a busy schedule with holiday shopping. If you are willing to shop locally to support community institutions and artisans, the Setauket Neighborhood House is hosting a Holiday Boutique on Saturday, Dec. 3, starting at 9 a.m. The Three Village Garden Club hosts the event and features table tops, centerpieces, wreaths and other Christmas decorations.
