Here are the top four stories in Three Village today:
- Stony Brook University Orchestra will perform Handel’s Messiah Sunday at 3 p.m. The concert will be held at the Staller Center, with free admission. For more information, you can contact the Department of Music at 631.632.7330 or www.stonybrook.edu/music (Three Village Patch)
- Police are investigating a possible drowning in Great South Bay. Officials pulled a young male's body out of the water after receiving a 911 call that reported someone was "floating" in the area. The discovery was nearby the South of Fire Avenue at 2:40 p.m. Police and medical examiners are working to identify the person. (Smithtown Matters)
- Suffolk Police Department announced via social media that an incident is under investigation at the Smith Haven Mall. Police arrived at the scene after two people reported a possible armed male strolling in the mall on Nov. 29 at 12:12 p.m. No threats to public safety were identified. - "New York Dance Theatre will present its 40th season of “The Nutcracker” at Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY on Saturday, December 17, and Sunday, December 18, with performances each day at noon and 5 p.m." (Three Village Patch)
