Residents who this week noticed work going on at Sycamore Circle Park will be happy to know that safety improvements are on the way.
In a message to Three Village Patch, town councilman Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld explained that some of the older equipment is being replaced by new equipment for safety reasons.
"We're just mainly trying to get everything into safety compliance," Fiore-Rosenfeld said.
He said the work should be completed within the next few days.
"It's a pretty well-used playground area," he said. "I'm just grateful that we could be of help" to the residents of the S Section, he added.
