- A little bits of good overwhelm the world! A lemonade stand owned by Elise Ciardullo of Port Jefferson and Amelia Theodorakis of Stony Brook has been selling sweet treats for a good cause since April. The girls proudly donated $1,000 to Save-A-Pet USA in Port Jefferson, along with bags of blankets. Their stand slogan is "Buy a cup, save a pup," and it has been a success in the community. - Staller Center is hosting its annual Light The Brook on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to enjoy a hot chocolate and to see performances. This event is free of charge. The facade of the Academy Mall will be lit up at the event. (Stony Brook University)
- Three Village 42nd Annual Candlelight House Tour will showcase four historic houses on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2-3. - Today, registered voters in New York will head to the polls to decide for the new NY governor. Candidates Kathy Hochul and Lee Zeldin campaigned over the weekend. According to an article published by Long Island News 12, more than 230,00 Long Islanders have already voted. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. (LI News 12)

The First Annual Three Village Outdoor Winter Market will hit the town On Dec. 10-11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Three Village Electric Holiday Parade will be held on Dec. 12. - Stony Brook Healthy Libraries will be in Babylon on Saturday, Nov. 12. Healthy professionals will answer questions and provide health screenings for the community. (Patch)
