1. R.C. Murphy Junior High School students participated in a college and career week hosted by the school's guidance department. The goal was to encourage students to choose the right career and demonstrate the importance of education. (TVSD)
2. Instructor Oksana Danziger will be at Gallery North on April 9 from 3-6 p.m. to lead the art of silk painting workshop. Attendees will create their silk scarves using the cold resist technique. Click here for details and to enroll. (Patch)
3. Easter parade and egg hunt will start at noon on April 17. The event will feature an Old-Fashioned "Easter Bonnet" with the Easter Bunny riding on it! The parade will start in front of Theatre Three and will finish at the Port Jefferson Harbor, where the egg hunt will start. (PJCofC)
