- Setauket Elementary School math academic services teacher Lisa Wall has been selected as a New York State Master Teacher. Mrs. Wall is now part of more than 1,400 outstanding K-12 educators who proved to hold a deep understanding of their content area and pedagogy. The Three Village School District congratulates Mrs. Lisa for her achievement! (TVSD)
- Through the Lens exhibit is still open at The Reboli Center. The exhibit features the work and legacy of painter Joseph Reboli who promoted the Three Village area as a center for art and history on Long Island. The exhibit is on display until April 11 and the Reboli Center is located at 64 Main St., Stony Brook. (Reboli Center)
- Three Village Historical Society celebrated Black History Month by releasing the history of the Bethel AME Church-Setauket. The church has a unique history and African Americans and Native Americans are part of it when in the early years they come together for mutual protection. The church was established in 1848, and in 1874 the congregation moved to the corner of Christian Avenue and Locust Avenue in Setauket where it still is today. (TVHS)

- Nearby News: A child was struck in the eye after being shot by a pellet gun in Deer Park. The 12-year-old child is recovering. The incident happened at the Deer Park Tanger Outlets. The security cameras show the moment when a person in a passing car shot the girl. The same car was also involved in a similar incident in Babylon. (WABC-TV)
