  1. Three Village Emma S. Clark Memorial Library offers One-On-One Medicare Counseling by phone appointment. HIICAP Health insurance information counseling and assistance program is given by retired senior citizens who volunteer as counselors. They will meet with residents by phone to help with Medicare health insurance information and forms. Appointments are available on Wednesday, Jan. 19 or Feb. 16 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Those interested in setting up an appointment with a HIICAP volunteer should contact Nanette Feder at Emma Clark Library at Nanette@emmaclark.org or call 631.941.4080, ext. 116.   2. Historic All Souls Church in Stony Brook hosts its Second Saturdays poetry. On Jan. 8 from 11 a.m.-noon, the program will be via Zoom. The readings will be hosted by Suffolk County Poet Laureate Richard Bronson and the featured poet will be Vicki Iorio. An open reading will give attendees a chance to read their own poems.   3. Three Village elementary school students made the "Stars Shining Brightly." Minnesauke Elementary School fifth grade students started a project that includes the entire school. They transformed the school hallway into a brilliant and peaceful sky adorned with points of light, each reflecting how the students shine brightest. Students received and decorated paper stars with words describing how they do or can shine the brightest. (Three Village School District)
