1. Three Village Ward Melville High School students Amber Luo and Billy Zhang were named scholars in the 2022 Regeneron Science Talent Search. Scholars were chosen based on their exceptional research skills, commitment to academics, innovative thinking, and promise as scientists and hail from 185 American and international high schools. 2. This is the last week of the winter holiday exhibit, "Celebrate the Season" at The Reboli Center for Art and History in Stony. The exhibit has been on display since Nov. 4, 2021, and Jan. 23 is the last day. The show features the artwork of various artists, including paintings by the late artist, Joseph Reboli, the Setauket-based artist for whom the Center is named. (The Reboli Center)
3. In loving memory of actress Betty White and to celebrate what would be her 100th birthday, fans across the country are being asked to participate in the Betty White challenge.
