  1. Ward Melville High School’s music program was selected to perform at Disney World. That achievement was conquered after the group submitted an application, photos, and video showcasing their musical talents. (TVSD)
  2. Patricia Summers will be at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library to talk about castles in Europe. Some are still inhabited, some are for sale, and dozens are hotels. Join her and explore the history of forgotten castles. The event will be held on Wednesday, April 6 at 2 p.m. (ECML)
  3. Secrets of Stony Brook Village Walking Tours are available now. Come hear stories while strolling through the village. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased here. (LIEVENTS)

  • "Serge Luryi, distinguished professor in Stony Brook University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Craig Lehmann, former dean of the School of Health Technology and Management, have been elected fellows by the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) — the highest professional distinction accorded solely to academic inventors."
