- Mark on the calendar the Three Village Electric Parade on Sunday. Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. Pre-parade fun will be held at the Setauket Fire House at 4 p.m. The event will light our streets with the fun decorated vehicles "marching" around the neighborhood. - Congratulations to Three Village School District teacher Nicolette DeMartino for earning the Science Teachers Association of New York State award. The award recognizes her work and her contributions to science education in NY. (Three Village School District)
- Those interested in acquiring ceramic objects can't miss out on the Holiday Pottery Sale hosted by The Brick Clay Studios & Gallery. The event is set for Nov. 19-20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 2 Flowerfield, Suites 57 & 60 in St. James. (Patch Events)
- A man was arrested for stabbing his roommate in the chest over a loud music dispute. Police said Frank Liguori attacked the 31-year-old roommate because he played loud music at their residence on Merrick Road and Park Place. Liguori is facing assault charges. (LI News12)
