  1. The 43rd Annual Holiday Festival kicks off on Dec. 4 in Stony Brook! The event runs from Noon to 6 p.m. Just so you know, the event is entirely free and features holiday treats, live music, a petting zoo and more! (Stony Brook Village)
  2. If you want unique items to decorate your home for the holidays, the Three Village Garden Club is hosting a Holiday Greenery Boutique at the Setauket Neighborhood House. Items like wreaths, centerpieces, table tops and more will be on sale on Saturday, Dec. 3, starting at 9 a.m. (Three Village Patch)
  3. The next session of the Emma Clark Memorial Library Chair Yoga is set for Thursday, Dec. 1. The event will be held via Zoom, with instructor Jackie Incorvia leading the group into relaxation and stretching exercises. Visit the link to register. (Emma Clark Library)
  4. This is the time of the year most porches are filled with delivery boxes for the holidays. This time also can raise concerns over your item's safety as "porch pirates" are on the lookout for stealing the boxes.
