  1. The Ward Melville Heritage Organization is hosting its 43rd Annual Holiday Festival on Dec. 4 with a special appearance of Santa Claus. Bring the family to enjoy this community event that starts at noon. A petting zoo, hot treats, carolers and other attractions will be offered. (Patch)
  2. A family from Setauket sought a liver donor match for their 8-month-old daughter who needs a transplant. Little Sadie is at the Mount Sinai Children’s Hospital in New York City. The baby has been diagnosed with rare biliary atresia. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family while Sadie is under treatment. (News 12 Bronx)
  3. Would you like to help the Emma Clark Memorial Library to Share the Warmth this winter? If so, you can drop off your donations at the main lobby through Dec. 31. The items accepted are new hats, gloves, socks and scarves that will be given to local charities. All sizes are needed. (Emma Clark Memorial Library)
  4. The Three Village Garden's Club is putting up a Holiday Greenery Boutique at the Setauket Neighborhood House in Setauket. Among the items on sale will be wreaths, swags, centerpieces and more! The event will be held on Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. (Patch Events)
