Here are the top four stories today in Three Village:
- A Black Friday event returns to the community on Friday! The stores at Stony Brook Village will welcome all with Black Friday deals, carolers, a petting zoo and hot treats! - For those who appreciate poetry, Emma Clark Memorial Library is hosting an evening with two poetry writers presenting their new books' content on Dec. 1. An open mic will also be offered to give attendees a chance to read their poems. Click here to register. (Patch Events)
- The Three Village Holiday Electric Parade kicks off on Dec. 11 in Setauket. Holiday floats and decorated cars will leave the Setauket Elementary School at 5 p.m. and roll around town until 6:30 p.m. A pre-parade party will be hosted at the Setauket firehouse at 4 p.m. (Three Village Patch)
- AAA speculates that 54.6 million people will hit the road this Thanksgiving. Numbers show an increase of 1.5% compared to last year. The crowds will also be found at the airports, with a rise of 8 percent of passengers flying to their destinations on holiday. (LI News12)

- The Reboli Center is asking the Three Village, Stony Brook, Setauket, and surrounding areas residents to help donate to the Holiday Food Drive. The drive will be hosted from Dec. 2-24.
