Five Three Village Central School District students received honors in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, the nation’s longest running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens.

The following students were recognized for their artwork created under the direction of their Ward Melville High School teachers, Stefanie DiLorenzo, Kristen Dietz and Chris Esser:
- Sarina Policastro – Silver Key and Honorable Mention
- Nicole Xiao – 2 Gold Keys, 3 Silver Keys and an Honorable Mention
- Zoe Xiao – Honorable Mention
- Aimee Yang – Gold Key and 2 Honorable Mentions
- Julia Yang – 3 Silver Keys and 2 Honorable Mentions
