Three Village Teachers Honored By Regional Organization

The New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance recognized local teachers.

The Suffolk Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance recognized two Three Village Central School District staff members as teachers of the year at a recent conference. Congratulations to Jeanne LaLima who was named the Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year and to Kerry Diana, named the Elementary Health Teacher of the Year.

“Both Ms. LaLima and Ms. Diana are dedicated, motivated and extraordinary teachers who go above and beyond for our students, department and district,” said Kevin Finnerty, Three Village executive director of health, physical education, recreation and athletics.

During the award ceremony, Ms. LaLima and Ms. Diana were supported by their fellow colleagues and administrators from Nassakeag and Minnesauke elementary schools. The district congratulates Ms. LaLima and Ms. Diana for their outstanding work as educators in the health and physical education field.
