Ward Melville High School’s Math Team recently placed third in New York and first in Suffolk County at the New York State Math League Competition.

The competition gives students at the elementary, middle and high school levels an opportunity to participate in an academically engaging activity while gaining recognition for achievement. Students are challenged to solve age-appropriate math questions that cover a variety of difficulty ranges.

The district congratulates Ward Melville High School’s Math Team and wishes them success in future competitions.
