STONY BROOK, NY — This year's Stony Brook Film Festival has added free online content for an audience staying home more during social distancing. The artistic films shown in previous years at the Staller Center for the Arts at Stony Brook University are now available online. The festival is playing a series of the award-winning short films from past festivals online.

The short films are available for free and will be released each Tuesday and Friday in May and June. The first short film will be available next Tuesday on the film festival website.

Staller Center Director Alan Inkles said "we are working hard behind the scenes to make sure that when the time is right, we can all come back together to the Staller Center."
