• Tensions flare ahead of Lansing AI data center vote (fingerlakes1.com) — Lansing’s Zoning Board of Appeals is set to hold a Dec. 16 public hearing and final vote on whether TeraWulf’s proposed AI data center at the old Cayuga Power Plant fits local zoning rules, a decision closely watched in Tompkins. Environmental advocates allege the board chair’s past email shows bias, while he insists his comments were misunderstood and not meant to predetermine the outcome.
