• Jayden Oden leads Uniondale to win over Syosset (newsday.com) — Uniondale High School’s boys basketball team pulled out a 62-58 overtime road win over Syosset, led by sophomore guard Jayden Oden’s 26 points and clutch free throws. Despite losing practice time after a burst pipe flooded their home gym, coach Jaaz Styles’ Knights have started 4-1 and believe they can contend for a Nassau County title.
