(NYPD)

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY – A 12-year-old girl was riding the M3 bus on the Upper East Side in the heart of Museum Mile near East 86th Street and Fifth Avenue at about 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, when an adult man sat down next to her and proceeded to “caress her upper thigh,” according to authorities.

The victim immediately got off the bus, cops said.

The man, however, remained on the bus – for almost thirty blocks – disembarking at East 60th Street and Fifth Avenue.
