$14.5M Pre-War Duplex Penthouse Tops UES Real Estate Deals

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Despite a shortened holiday week, the luxury housing market still set records in Manhattan, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.

On average, Manhattan sees typically 17 sales on apartments more than $4,000,000 during Thanksgiving week, but this year, the island saw 19 sales between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30, Olshan reported.

On the Upper East Side, the luxury real estate market saw five sales surpass the $4,000,000 line. The top sale in the neighborhood was a penthouse on Park Avenue that went for $14,500,000, making it the third-highest sale in all of Manhattan between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30.

The penthouse, which is located at 895 Park Ave. in Lenox Hill, is a pre-war duplex co-op with six bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms.
