2 Injured In Fire On The Upper East Side, FDNY Says

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Two people were injured in an apartment fire that broke out on the Upper East Side on Monday night, New York City Fire Department officials said.
According to the FDNY, the fire started around 10 p.m. Monday on the second floor of an apartment building located at 370 East 76th St., between First Avenue and Second Avenue.
Ninety firefighters and medics responded the to emergency, and the fire was put under control about half an hour later, FDNY officials said.

Two people with injuries were taken to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, FDNY officials said. The FDNY did not specify what condition the two injured people are in.
Fire Marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
