Lo Castro opened his first Casasalvo on the Upper West Side earlier this year, at 473 Amsterdam Avenue between West 82nd and 83rd Street. A second location opened at 470 Ninth Avenue, not far from Hudson Yards, in September. The Upper East Side location presents a similar concept.

The new cafe features indoor and outdoor seating, and is now open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
