Central Park Art Gallery Opens Annual Wreath Exhibition
Back for the 39th year, "Wreath Interpretations" showcases wreaths made with unconventional materials. See it at the Arsenal Gallery.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — An annual exhibition showcasing inventive wreaths to coincide with the holiday season is back at Central Park's Arsenal Gallery.
After going virtual last year, "Wreath Interpretations" is back for the 39th year at the gallery, located inside the imposing brick building just in from Fifth Avenue near East 64th Street. They will be on view through Jan. 6, 2022.
This year's show includes wreaths by nearly 40 artists, designers and other creators, using "unconventional materials to reinvent the traditional holiday symbol," the Parks Department said.

"This year's free holiday exhibition is especially merry and bright as we celebrate its in-person return to the Arsenal Gallery," Parks Commissioner Gabrielle Fialkoff said in a news release. "We thank the artists for applying their creative spin to this traditional form with unique materials, colors, textures, and inspiring messages."
