Creep Gropes Teen On Queens, UES Trains, Police Say

The man is accused of touching a 13-year-old girl's inner thigh on two separate occasions.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man accused of groping a teen girl on two separate occasions in February, police said.

The man allegedly groped the same 13-year-old girl while she rode the subway in Long Island City, Queens and the Upper East Side two weeks apart, police said. In both incidents, the man approached the girl on the subway and touched her inner thigh.

The first groping occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 12, on a 7 train approaching Queensboro Plaza from Manhattan, police said. The second groping occurred two weeks later on Feb. 28 on a 5 train approaching the East 86th Street subway station from downtown.

Police said the man exited the 5 train at the 149th Street and Grand Concourse station in the Bronx. The suspect is described as standing about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds.
