Elderly East Sider Assaulted On Park Ave: Police
An 84-year-old man was attacked on Park Avenue near East 63rd Street on Thursday afternoon, officials said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY – At about 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, an 84-year-old man was in front of 570 Park Avenue when he was approached by an unknown individual and assaulted, according to authorities.
The East Sider was struck in the right side of his head and on his shoulder, police said.
Officials believe the attacker fled westbound down East 63rd Street toward Madison Avenue, and a video released by the NYPD appears to show a doorman chasing him away.

The victim declined medical attention at the scene.
