Man Attacked By Stranger In Upper East Side Drugstore, Police Say
The victim was transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital by private means, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police were looking Tuesday for a suspect who attacked a man inside a CVS on the Upper East Side, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, on June 1 at 12:33 p.m. inside 1569 First Ave., which is near the corner of East 82nd Street, a perpetrator approached a 41-year-old man from behind and punched him in the face with a closed fist, causing the victim to fall to the ground and sustain injuries to his face.
The victim was transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital by private means, police said.

After the attack, the suspect ran away from the store in an unknown direction, police said.
Police said the suspect was last seen wearing a black and gray sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
