Man Attacked On UES For iPhone, Watch: NYPD

Two men punched and robbed the victim on the corner of East 89th Street and Park Avenue, police say.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify two men wanted in connection with a violent robbery on the Upper East Side, police said.

A 49-year-old man was walking on East 89th Street and Park Avenue on the night of March 22 when he was approached by two unknown men, police said. The accused robbers punched the man in the face and stole his iPhone, wristwatch and Sony headphones, police said.

The muggers fled the scene and avoided custody, police said. EMS did not transport the victim to a hospital, but the man sought medical attention later for a concussion, police said.

Police released photos of the suspects (seen above) taken by a subway station security camera.
