New Milestone For Upper East Side's Luxury Real Estate Market
After being dubbed "cool" by the Wall Street Journal, the Upper East Side saw record-breaking luxury sales.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The Upper East Side accomplished a luxury real estate feat this week— Manhattan's top five most expensive residential deals of the week are all in the neighborhood, according to the Olshan Report.
One possible reason why real estate interest is surging in the neighborhood could be because the neighborhood was recently deemed "cool" by the Wall Street Journal and confirmed by the public in a recent Patch poll.
In the week of Oct. 13-19, 30 luxury residential contracts valued at $4,000,000 or more were signed in Manhattan, according to Olshan. Ten of these are on the Upper East Side.
