No Arrests After Bold Heist In Broad Daylight At UES Bank: Police

A TD Bank on the Upper East Side was robbed on Thursday morning, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY – On Thursday morning at about 9 a.m., an unknown male struck up a conversation with an employee of the TD Bank at 1110 3rd Avenue, between 65th and 66th Street on the Upper East Side, police said.

When that conversation concluded, the man walked up to a bank teller and handed the teller a note, according to police. “Give me the money,” it read.

There was no weapon, a police spokesperson confirmed.

The teller handed over $661 in cash and the man left the location, fleeing southbound down 3rd Avenue, police said.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
