Queen Anne-Style Townhouse Sells For $14.5M: Top 5 UES Real Estate Deals

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The luxury real estate market is booming in Manhattan, with more than 40 deals for homes over $4,000,000 inked in the past week, including 11 on the Upper East Side, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.

This is the first week since May 19 that the city saw more than 40 contracts over $4,000,000, but the fourth week in a row of cracking 30 deals, Olshan reported.

On the Upper East Side, the top deal was a landmarked Queen Anne-style townhouse that sold for $14,500,000 on East 71st Street, just off Park Avenue.

Originally built in 1884 by architect F.T. Camp, the landmarked mansion spans six stories with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, two powder rooms, and six wood-burning fireplaces.
