Rare London Book Dealer Starts New Chapter On Upper East Side: Report
The gallery has its soft opening this week, just in time for the New York International Antiquarian Book Fair at the Park Avenue Armory.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — One of London's best rare book dealers, Peter Harrington, is heading across the pond to open a new rare book gallery on the Upper East Side, according to a report from Fine Books Magazine.
The new gallery, located at 35 East 67th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue, will open officially in September, Fine Books Magazine reported.
However, the gallery has its soft opening this week, just in time for the New York International Antiquarian Book Fair at the Park Avenue Armory, which is from April 3-6, Fine Books Magazine reported.

At the soft opening, Peter Harrington's gallery will display unpublished Jack Kerouac letters and a rare presentation copy of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, Fine Books Magazine reported.
The new gallery will be a shop as well as a gallery for rare book and will showcase a wide-ranging selection of first editions, original manuscripts, and books with special inscriptions and beautiful bindings, Fine Books Magazine reported.
